Let's start from the beginning:

Six years ago, our family of 10 (8 kids ages 3-16) moved out of our small 3-bedroom 1200 SF house into a huge 2700 SF home.  It was SO epic!

Only problem, we were a one income family and along with the exciting new extra space, our mortgage payment doubled. We didn't have any extra money - in fact, you would often find me standing in line for a food box at the local church on Saturday mornings.

It was mid-summer, and our new home came with a gorgeous huge patio. It sat, sadly, empty since every penny we had went to necessities.

For hours I would drool over Pinterest pictures ... dreaming of beautiful flowers, lights strung across the patio to a pretty umbrella, and matching table & chairs with cheerful cushions.

Someday, I thought.  Maybe when Bret gets a raise.  I certainly couldn't get a job with having 8 young children - daycare would be crazy expensive.

Then it hit me: I'm actually really good at finding things of high value and flipping them for profit.  What if....?

So I talked to Bret and we agreed that I could take just $50 from the grocery budget and hit up some garage sales.  If I made any profit, I could spend the $$ on decor.

Yaasss!! A happy dance was definitely happening in the kitchen that day!!

The rest is history.  I not only fully furnished my back patio to look EXACTLY like I had dreamed, but within a few short months I had accumulated an additional $1,000 cash that I stashed in an envelope in my closet - and paid for our entire family's Christmas.

I learned alot of things along the way.

Sometimes I lost money. Sometimes it sucked.  But, it worked.  I had a thriving business bringing in thousands of dollars a month JUST by flipping home decor!  JUST by doing the thing I already loved - shopping for deals.

People started sending me pictures of my home decor pieces in their home, thanking me SO much for selling it to them.  I was changing lives ... infusing joy in homes all over my city.  That just made me so happy... I was making a difference!

I increased my income over time until we were officially a 2-income family.  I was able to pay for all the extra stuff we could never in a million years afford before - braces, brand new shoes for the kids (not from Goodwill, imagine that!), and I even paid cash for this stunning huge mirror from Ballard Designs .... pinch me, am I dreaming?

Over time, I began to help others start & grow their own businesses selling farmhouse decor on Facebook Marketplace. 

I quickly saw that all my figuring it out myself, made the process A LOT easier for them. 

Over time, so many people wanted my help starting a business buying & re-selling farmhouse decor - that I created this program.

Today, I am a business mentor, a digital course creator for women entrepreneurs, and I still love to sell farmhouse decor!

Simply Rejuvenation, LLC is thriving, currently generating over $4,000 a month in revenue.

While a lot has changed in the time since I started my business ...
